Claim 5: “Her exit would end more than four decades at the Houston-based oil producer, where she became the first woman to become the CEO of a major U.S. oil company in 2016.”

MISLEADING

The claim states her tenure lasted 'more than four decades.' However, the evidence indicates she has been CEO since April 2016, which is less than a decade. While she has been a long-serving executive, the specific claim of 'more than four decades' is contradicted by the provided dates (CEO since 2016). The evidence does confirm she was the first woman CEO of a major U.S. oil company.
