What happened

Josh Hart has bad news for Joel Embiid: Everyone has a price.

Why it matters

He doesn’t think the 76ers center’s plea to Philadelphia fans not to sell tickets to New Yorkers is going to work — it could be a repeat of the 2024 playoff series, when Knicks fans turned Xfinity Mobile Arena (then Wells Fargo Center) into Madison Square…

Common ground

There were “MVP” chants for Jalen Brunson that irked Embiid.

Perspective signals

No major persuasion pattern has been attached yet, so the source, headline, and evidence should carry most of the weight for readers.

Claim 3: “the 76ers overcame a 3-1 series deficit to eliminate the Celtics on Saturday night”
DISPUTED
The claim states the 76ers overcame a 3-1 deficit to eliminate the Celtics. However, the evidence shows that in the 2024 series against the Knicks, the Knicks were the ones who led 3-1 and eventually eliminated the 76ers (Game 6 victory). While one search result mentions a 2026 scenario, the 2024 context provided in other evidence shows the 76ers were eliminated by the Knicks, not the Celtics.
